CUAC Karting Championship

Each year the club runs a karting championship consitsting of around 5/6 rounds. The races are conducted at outdoor kart circuits local to Cambridge. These races are open to both current Cambridge University students as well as Alumni. Guests of members of the club are also welcome to attend the races but will not be counted towards the overall championship. These races are open to people of all abilities and provide fun racing for all involved. For information on these events get in touch with Angus agab2@cam.ac.uk .

BUKC

The club also enters multiple teams into the British Universities Karting Championship https://www.bukc.co.uk/ . This is a 2 stroke national karting champioship for more experienced drivers. We normally suggest if you haven't done much karting before that you do some club rounds before trying out for the University team. The club offers tutition for anyone seeking to improve their racing skills so don't let experience stop you from wanting to get involved! This option is open only to current Cambridge University students. If you would like to try out for the team or find out more information get in touch with Alistair as2375@cam.ac.uk .

Social Events

Most week the club runs pub meets and dinners for those eager to engage in all things motorpsort. All are welcome to these events and on some occasions famous speakers are invited. Past events have featured the likes of Oliver Turvey, James Barclay and the late John Surtees. For more details on these events get in touch with Luke ls669@cam.ac.uk .
